Living room 거실 (1999)

Wood, a video camera, motor, monitor

I made small model of my house in Germany. A camera is located where a desk and a chair were. The camera takes the pictures of inside the model and visitors shown through the big window on a wall. All these images are shown on the monitor.

 

독일에서 생활하던 집의 거실을 작은 박스형의 모델로 만들었다. 그리고 책상과 의자가 놓여있던 곳에 서서히 좌우로 회전하는 카메라를 설치해 놓았다. 카메라는 모델 공간 내부의 모습과, 한쪽 벽면의 커다란 창문을 통해 보이는 실재 전시 공간 속의 관객들을 찍는다. 이렇게 찍힌 영상은 옆에 놓여진 모니터를 통해 보여진다.
